All Democrat inspired regulatory burdens that are mostly useless, expensive and hampering real progress. But go ahead, get pissed if it applies to your pet projects.

What you describe in #2 is called ‘regulatory capture’ and it wasn’t invented by liberal democrats or feminist women. It was created by capitalists who use state power against other capitalists, and to insulate themselves from market forces. That it’s also used for cheap political theater against women is hardly a surprise nor a cause for celebration.

I understand that liberal Democrats didn’t invent regulatory capture. They’re just the leading proponents more regulation right now.
