Things Heard: e29v2

  • Richard Fernandez, who is in my opinion probably the most insightful conservative essayist blogging, takes on two left-leaning assumption on Iraq and Afghanistan.
  • Light mills.
  • “Islam is not a religion but a way of life” … in general the notion that one’s religion is “a way of life” seems not a bad one, no?
  • Returning to the Island.
  • I think the “justification” obvious, it’s that they “hate him”.
  • God and politics.
