Bloggers with Press Passes?
According to Drudge, White House Spokesman Scott McClellan made some interesting statements on Thursday:
In this day and age, when you have a changing media, it's not an easy issue to decide or try to pick and choose who is a journalist...There are a number of people in that room that express their points of view, and there are people in that room that represent traditional media, they represent talk radio, they're columnists, and they represent online news organizations.Is the White House setting the stage for giving bloggers White House Press Passes?

We don't need no stinking passes! I have access to what's going on at press briefings from this chair I'm sitting in. However, can you think of any other symbolic gesture that would, at such a high level, signify equal credibility between new media and legacy hacks?
