Fonda’s Faith
Tony at A Red Mind in a Blue State is sick of seeing Jane Fonda out on her book tour. I haven’t seen her at all—my TV time has been short—but I haven’t seen any comments from the Christian community about her declarations of faith out promoting the book. Here in Atlanta the big news a few years ago was when Ted Turner left her because of her new Christian faith. Here’s a little more detail on Fonda’s faith.

Honestly, I have great difficultly picturing Fonda as a Christian. She never actually apologized for her actions during Vietnam, and it seems to me that she only has something to say about her "faith" when she can get something out of it.
Maybe I'm wrong for this, but I don't like that woman and don't believe her for one second. If she really is a Christian, how about telling the truth about what she did and personally apologizing to everybody she hurt instead of once again covering it all up and ignoring the issues at hand.

If she is truly a Christian, she needs some serious discipleship. She was seen on Larry King talking about consulting a psychic and approving of Ted's latest girlfriend and still seeing him on a regular basis. True conversion is based on a relationship with Jesus Christ in REPENTANCE of former sins and lifestyles and obeying the words of our LORD. He says "You are forgiven, but go and sin no more."
