Hokay, what’s out there for us today?
- New light tech for one.

Evidence that the left is better at deciding what data is truly reflective of reality is that the left was correct in this case. The proof? Obama won. Republicans fell victim in this election to their overall tendency to stifle critical thinking and filter out reality. It’s the same reason that science selects for left-leaning individuals.
I’m curious about something. Are you and other members of SCO Christians or conservatives first and foremost? I suspect you’ll say Christian. If you don’t then you’ll probably lose a lot of your self-perceived moral high ground. Yet you all rooted for Romney, despite the fact that his Mormonism is much more divergent from the tenets of your own religion than Obama’s Protestantism. Hence my curiosity.
Obama winning could also mean that the Left knows how to pit one group against another and parlay that to their advantage.
Most scientists were religious (many, Christians) early on. As the culture has changed, so has the makeup of scientists, though there are still many Christians in those halls.
