More seriously, sometime I&#8217;d like to hear a non-partisan argument why uniformed and uninterested voters being encouraged to vote is a good thing, i.e., an argument that isn&#8217;t at its root based in &#8220;so we have a better chance of winning.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>An Aussie on <a href=\"http:\/\/faith-theology.blogspot.com\/2008\/11\/dishonest-money-what-financial-crisis.html\" target=\"_blank\">the financial crisis<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>How <a href=\"http:\/\/varifrank.com\/archives\/2008\/11\/how_to_stop_pir.php\" target=\"_blank\">stop piracy<\/a> (hint: remove da profit).<\/li>\n<li>A book plug &#8230; and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fathersofthechurch.com\/2008\/11\/18\/patristics-for-the-parish\/\" target=\"_blank\">regrettable Vonnegut quote<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Another <a href=\"http:\/\/inhabitatiodei.wordpress.com\/2008\/11\/18\/scarcely-recognizable-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\">book<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>And another, this one a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jihadwatch.org\/archives\/023555.php\" target=\"_blank\">dangerous book<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>My &#8230; what is this &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/senseofevents.blogspot.com\/2008\/11\/iraq-war-is-won-but-was-it-right-to.html\" target=\"_blank\">plug a book day?<\/a>&#8221; I missed the memo.<\/li>\n<li>One wonders if our resident neighborhood racist <a href=\"http:\/\/dsadevil.blogspot.com\/2008\/11\/obama-to-nominate-first-black-ag.html\" target=\"_blank\">had similar applause<\/a> for &#8220;our first Hispanic AG&#8221;? And <a href=\"http:\/\/biglizards.net\/blog\/archives\/2008\/11\/size_matters.html\" target=\"_blank\">the downside<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Money from <a href=\"http:\/\/lifehacker.com\/5092551\/save-money-by-converting-your-lawn-into-a-garden\" target=\"_blank\">your lawn<\/a>?<\/li>\n<li>One Obama <a href=\"http:\/\/corner.nationalreview.com\/post\/?q=M2Y1YWNjYmFmZTI4OWEyMjA2ZDcyMTI3YTU3MDgyMDY=\" target=\"_blank\">comparison refuted<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;It is good to be well armed, it provides a useful place to attach your hands&#8221; &#8230; or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.positiveliberty.com\/2008\/11\/a-well-armed-society-is-a-polite-society-robert-a-heinlein.html\" target=\"_blank\">something like that<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Twaddle and <a href=\"http:\/\/insightscoop.typepad.com\/2004\/2008\/11\/obama-and-the-bishops-are-talking-the-same-platform.html\" target=\"_blank\">the President elect<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>What does the <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/dispatches\/2008\/11\/dunbar_tries_to_backpeddle.php\" target=\"_blank\">word &#8220;Backpeddle&#8221; mean<\/a>?
