{"id":3146,"date":"2010-04-12T11:12:00","date_gmt":"2010-04-12T16:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stonescryout.org\/?p=3146"},"modified":"2010-04-12T11:12:00","modified_gmt":"2010-04-12T16:12:00","slug":"spring-break-catch-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stonescryout.org\/?p=3146","title":{"rendered":"Spring Break Catch-up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was on Spring Break vacation with the family last week, so other than my post-dated blog posts, I didn&#8217;t write much &#8230; well, anything.&#160; But I did surf the web and kept track of some articles I wanted to highlight when I came back.&#160; Here they are, in mostly chronological order of when I found them.<\/p>\n<p>Amnesty International decided that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jihadwatch.org\/2010\/04\/amnesty-international-throws-human-rights-under-the-bus-endorses-defensive-jihad.html\" target=\"_blank\">jihad was not antithetical to human rights<\/a> so long as it&#8217;s &quot;defensive&quot;.&#160; <\/p>\n<p>The bump in polling numbers after passing health care &quot;reform&quot; was supposed to go to Democrats.&#160; Instead, while it&#8217;s just a measure of emotion at this point in time, you&#8217;d think that all the promises of the bill would give Democrats a few higher point.&#160; Instead, they&#8217;re at an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gallup.com\/poll\/127262\/Democratic-Party-Image-Drops-Record-Low.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">18-year low<\/a>.&#160; It&#8217;s quite possible that people are only now understanding what they supported all along, because the <a href=\"http:\/\/holycoast.blogspot.com\/2010\/04\/obamacare-creating-national-confusion.html\" target=\"_blank\">&quot;free&quot; stuff isn&#8217;t materializing right now<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What was the point of the resurrection on Easter?&#160; <a href=\"http:\/\/senseofevents.blogspot.com\/2010\/04\/jesus-is-risen-who-cares.html\" target=\"_blank\">Don Sensing has (had) some thoughts.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Tea Party&#8217;s ideas are <a href=\"http:\/\/newsbusters.org\/blogs\/noel-sheppard\/2010\/04\/05\/media-myth-debunked-more-people-agree-tea-partys-views-obamas\" target=\"_blank\">much more mainstream<\/a> than the MSM would like you to believe.&#160; And Tea Partiers are <a href=\"http:\/\/voices.washingtonpost.com\/right-now\/2010\/04\/cnn_salutes_the_colorful_smile.html\" target=\"_blank\">much more diverse<\/a> that the MSM realized.&#160; Turns out, they did some actual journalism and found out the real story.&#160; Imagine that.&#160; Has the liberal slant of the press become a problem of <a href=\"http:\/\/townhall.com\/columnists\/BillOReilly\/2010\/04\/10\/is_the_american_press_corrupt\" target=\"_blank\">corruption<\/a>, especially with, first, the willful ignoring of the Tea Party story, and second, the willful misreporting of it?<\/p>\n<p>Toyota cars have killed 52 people, and got a recall for it.&#160; Gardasil, a cervical cancer vaccine, has had <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jillstanek.com\/by-barbara-hollingsworth-of-th.html\" target=\"_blank\">49 &quot;unexplained deaths&quot;<\/a> reported by the CDC and it&#8217;s still required in some states.<\/p>\n<p>Changing the names to protect the guilty, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2010\/04\/07\/obama-bans-islam-jihad-national-security-strategy-document\/\" target=\"_blank\">the words &quot;Islam&quot; and &quot;jihad&quot; are now banned<\/a> from the national security strategy document.&#160; When the next terror attack Islamic jihadists happens, it&#8217;ll be interesting to find out how they describe it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/earth\/environment\/climatechange\/7564682\/Cows-absolved-of-causing-global-warming-with-nitrous-oxide.html\" target=\"_blank\">Cows have been exonerated<\/a> of helping to cause global warming.&#160; No, really.<\/p>\n<p>Rep.
