{"id":4675,"date":"2011-10-25T07:54:05","date_gmt":"2011-10-25T12:54:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stonescryout.org\/?p=4675"},"modified":"2011-10-25T07:54:05","modified_gmt":"2011-10-25T12:54:05","slug":"things-heard-e195v2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stonescryout.org\/?p=4675","title":{"rendered":"Things Heard: e195v2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>Good morning.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/wardrobedoor.blogspot.com\/2011\/10\/moving-indian-girls-beyond-unwanted.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bad parenting<\/a> &#8230; this is not a good name for your child and choosing such a name is beyond despicable.<\/li>\n<li>Actually\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dsadevil.blogspot.com\/2011\/10\/perrys-neo-birtherism.html\" target=\"_blank\">they&#8217;re not squirming<\/a> and have no reason to &#8230; because if you read\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052970204777904576649993085008396.html\" target=\"_blank\">the actual transcript<\/a> (about half way down the page) you&#8217;ll see what claimed as &#8220;birtherism&#8221; is just really poor yellow journalism. I&#8217;m sorry answering &#8220;I have no reason to think otherwise&#8221; to &#8220;Was Mr Obama born in the US&#8221; and responding to Mr Trump&#8217;s birtherism notions at dinner with &#8220;He&#8217;s the President of the United States. He&#8217;s elected. It&#8217;s a distractive issue&#8221; &#8230; if that&#8217;s birtherism Mr Schraub, you too are a birther for I daresay you couldn&#8217;t honestly answer any differently.<\/li>\n<li>Not getting the point of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.firstthings.com\/blogs\/firstthoughts\/2011\/10\/23\/how-to-misunderstand-your-own-country\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Declaration of Independence<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Occupy\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.firstthings.com\/blogs\/firstthoughts\/2011\/10\/23\/how-to-misunderstand-your-own-country\/\" target=\"_blank\">devolving<\/a>? Devolution of sorts seems ineveitable as &#8220;occupying Wall Street&#8221; to protest injury done by the education establishment seems naive at best.<\/li>\n<li>More\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/chicagoboyz.net\/archives\/25456.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>So the left (or at least broad swaths of it) is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/merecomments.typepad.com\/merecomments\/2011\/10\/it-was-a-girl.html\" target=\"_blank\">willing to put forth laws making<\/a> &#8220;abortion for sex selection&#8221;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/bench-memos\/281074\/banning-sex-selection-abortions-ed-whelan\" target=\"_blank\"> illegal in several states now<\/a>. A curious state for the pro-abortion crowd &#8230; to admit that some reasons for abortion might be beyond the pale. I wonder if they dream of slippery slopes?<\/li>\n<li>OOoooh, financial predictions\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/archives\/2011\/10\/chart_of_the_day_8.php\" target=\"_blank\">shown graphically out to 2080<\/a>!<\/li>\n<li>Yet another really\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.one-eternal-day.com\/2011\/10\/countless-hours-explaining-obvious.html\" target=\"_blank\">bad historical revisionist movie<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Finding\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/parablemania.ektopos.com\/archives\/2011\/10\/cain-abortion.html\" target=\"_blank\">consistency<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Defense of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefirearmblog.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/25\/nifty-desktop-mini-cannon\/\" target=\"_blank\">the cubical<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>A cornerstone\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/branemrys.blogspot.com\/2011\/10\/last-of-romans.html\" target=\"_blank\">of western philosophy noted<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning.
