{"id":4831,"date":"2012-01-19T12:07:00","date_gmt":"2012-01-19T17:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stonescryout.org\/?p=4831"},"modified":"2012-01-19T12:07:00","modified_gmt":"2012-01-19T17:07:00","slug":"wikipedia-is-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stonescryout.org\/?p=4831","title":{"rendered":"Wikipedia Is Back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After protesting the SOPA\/PIPA bills going through Congress (rightly, in my estimation) by <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/English_Wikipedia_blackout\" target=\"_blank\">going &quot;dark&quot; for 24 hours<\/a>, Wikipedia is back, to the relief of students everywhere who may have never opened a real, physical encyclopedia in this post-book world. The protest brought the issue of anti-piracy vs. anti-freedom to the attention of many people.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I&#8217;d like those folks who were very concerned over those bills to look up a couple of things on Wikipedia that should also have garnered their attention recently, if they&#8217;re really concerned about what government is doing without their knowledge.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Operation_Fast_and_Furious\" target=\"_blank\">Operation Fast and Furious<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Solyndra_loan_controversy\" target=\"_blank\">Solyndra<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve not heard about this in the news, that&#8217;s perfectly understandable. They&#8217;ve been nearly blacked-out themselves regarding these issues. Which is odd considering F&amp;F is responsible for the deaths of Americans.<\/p>\n<p>Are you <em>really<\/em> concerned about what your government is doing, and you&#8217;re not just jumping on the SOPA bandwagon?
