It&#8217;s not sexism, is aff-action and consequence. If you lower standards for groups, people expect that standards were lowered. People are odd that way.<\/li>\n<li>Replacing\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/twentytwowords.com\/2012\/04\/02\/how-to-get-a-liberal-arts-education-for-2-a-day\/\" target=\"_blank\">the meditative staring into fire at night<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>A suggestion\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.firstthings.com\/blogs\/firstthoughts\/2012\/04\/02\/privatizing-marriage\/\" target=\"_blank\">for marriage<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Our President (with a little Presidential hypocrisy noted)\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/volokh.com\/2012\/04\/02\/the-president-vs-the-court\/\" target=\"_blank\">and the courts<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>What I fail to understand is how\/why the liberal\/progressives\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/newsbusters.org\/blogs\/jeffrey-meyer\/2012\/04\/02\/once-again-nbc-selectively-edits-audio-tape-political-means\" target=\"_blank\">manage to not get outraged<\/a> by this sort of thing. Don&#8217;t they think a reliable media is important?<\/li>\n<li>Our\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/295085\/gsa-chief-resigns-over-outlandish-spending-daniel-foster\" target=\"_blank\">budget watchdogs<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Taking on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/rwcg.wordpress.com\/2012\/04\/02\/why-better-markets-no-markets\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Volcker rule<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>A little maths\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/terrytao.wordpress.com\/2012\/04\/02\/a-cheap-version-of-nonstandard-analysis\/\" target=\"_blank\">to go with your morning coffee<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning.
