  1. As people in US talk about the lifeguard\u00a0who was fired because his employer<\/a> (probably rightly) feared liability suits. This struck me as\u00a0similar in some ways<\/a>, culture\/politics\/law coming to the wrong conclusion.<\/li>\n
  2. Academic freedom? Or just a complete\u00a0lack of pedagogical sanity<\/a>?<\/li>\n
  3. Smelling another big war (read as global conflagration)\u00a0in the next decade or so<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  4. Hope\u00a0and prayer<\/a> … found and needed.<\/li>\n
  5. In which the left thinks<\/a> that painting themselves as the Nazi Jew haters is a good move. I’m just a bit confused by that strategy.<\/li>\n
  6. Some advice regarding\u00a0the tax\/Obamacare ruling<\/a>. I have a question for those watching the “tax vs penalty” debate? Is the child rebate in the tax code a penalty or a tax on those without children?<\/li>\n
  7. DADT and\u00a0the chaplaincy<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  8. Lots of places are citing the large storms resulting in power outages over the Eastern US as signs of global warming, ’cause that storm was so unusual. Alas\u00a0it wasn’t<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  9. This\u00a0reminds me of William Safire’s<\/a> grammar puns, for example “A preposition is something that you should never end a sentence with.”<\/li>\n
  10. Recommended books<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  11. A health care “what if” considered<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  12. The culture\u00a0war and demographic collapse<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  13. A lights show … what I\u00a0noticed most was the lightning<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  14. ’cause in Florida they dislike shopping<\/a> at Staples and Home Depot.<\/li>\n
