- Roads<\/strong>:\u00a0 Along with Public Employee Unions, excessive benefits<\/a>, civil service mentality, bureaucratic red tape? Try contracting roads to private firms to see efficiency in execution.<\/li>\n
- Firefighters<\/strong>:\u00a0\tAlong with early retirement pensions<\/a> for some at upwards of 90% of final salary?<\/li>\n
- Police Officers<\/strong>:\u00a0 Along with early retirement pensions<\/a> for some at upwards of 90% of final salary?<\/li>\n
- Hospitals<\/strong>:\u00a0 You mean like the ones run by the Catholic church<\/a>?<\/li>\n
- Paramedics<\/strong>:\u00a0\tA wonderful perk of living in the 21st century West.<\/li>\n
- HAZMAT Teams<\/strong>:\u00a0 Oh yeah, that must be a big line item in the budget.<\/li>\n
- Soldiers<\/strong>:\u00a0 Definitely.<\/li>\n
- Sailors<\/strong>:\u00a0 Definitely.<\/li>\n
- Airmen<\/strong>:\u00a0\tDefinitely.<\/li>\n
- Marines<\/strong>:\u00a0 Definitely.<\/li>\n
- Coast Guard<\/strong>:\u00a0 Definitely.<\/li>\n
- Clean Air<\/strong>:\u00a0 Not at the expense of bloated over-regulation<\/a>.<\/li>\n
- Clean Water<\/strong>:\u00a0\tNot at the expense of bloated over-regulation<\/a>.<\/li>\n
- Safe Food<\/strong>:\u00a0\tNot at the expense of bloated over-regulation<\/a>.<\/li>\n
- Pure Drugs<\/strong>: Not at the expense of bloated over-regulation<\/a>.<\/li>\n
- Child Protection<\/strong>:\u00a0 As long as child protection agencies do not abuse their authority<\/a> and power.<\/li>\n
- Safe Products<\/strong>:\u00a0\tNot at the expense of bloated over-regulation.<\/li>\n
- Air Traffic Control<\/strong>:\u00a0\tYes, definitely. And fire them all<\/a> (a la Reagan) if they try to go on strike.<\/li>\n
- Space Exploration<\/strong>:\u00a0\tRobotic exploration<\/a> is the future.<\/li>\n
- Bridges<\/strong>:\u00a0\tManaged by government, contracted to private firms. Kind of like the transcontinental railroad<\/a>.<\/li>\n

- Flood Defenses<\/strong>:\tHopefully not as was managed<\/a> in New Orleans (by the gov’t)\u2026<\/li>\n
- Universities<\/strong>:\u00a0\tLike Stanford, Claremont, or Yale? Oops, those are private firms. Same comment regarding overpriced and bloated administrations<\/a>.<\/li>\n
- Museums<\/strong>:\u00a0 Culturally enriching\u2026 yet a low priority for taxing the citizenry – ask the 1%’ers to help out.<\/li>\n
- Science<\/strong>:\u00a0 \tScience? Science couldn’t exist<\/a> without more taxes?<\/li>\n
- Diplomatic relations with other countries<\/strong>:\u00a0 Definitely.<\/li>\n
- Public Parks<\/strong>:\u00a0 The ones that are used frequently or the ones that sit empty for most of the week?<\/li>\n
- Criminal Justice<\/strong>:\tDefinitely.<\/li>\n
- Medical Research<\/strong>: This can’t happen without taxes?<\/a> Oh yeah, when you socialize medicine, you take away incentives for private research – got it.<\/li>\n
- National Forests<\/strong>:\u00a0 Definitely.<\/li>\n
