Jillian Keenan writing at Slate.com, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slate.com\/articles\/double_x\/doublex\/2013\/04\/legalize_polygamy_marriage_equality_for_all.html\">makes a feminist case for polygamy<\/a>, as well as demonstrating the slippery slope in action.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The definition of marriage is plastic. Just like heterosexual marriage is no better or worse than homosexual marriage, marriage between two consenting adults is not inherently more or less \u201ccorrect\u201d than marriage among three (or four, or six) consenting adults.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>If you don\u2019t think that same-sex marriage will lead to polygamy, you must refute her arguments that make that link. I don\u2019t have to refute them, because a) I <i>don\u2019t<\/i> think the definition of marriage is plastic, and b) I <i>do<\/i> think one leads to the other. If you <i>do<\/i> think marriage should be\u2026whatever, but <i>don\u2019t<\/i> think it leads to polygamy, you\u2019ve got your work cut out for you.
