{"id":5842,"date":"2013-06-26T11:39:00","date_gmt":"2013-06-26T16:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stonescryout.org\/?p=5842"},"modified":"2013-06-26T11:39:00","modified_gmt":"2013-06-26T16:39:00","slug":"study-shows-the-sun-rose-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stonescryout.org\/?p=5842","title":{"rendered":"Study Shows the Sun Rose Today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(This is one of the segments of the most recent episode of my podcast, <a href=\"http:\/\/considerthis.ctpodcasting.com\/2013\/06\/20\/episode-45-the-aclu-sues-over-cake-ny-times-reports-on-bias-and-stem-cells-from-skin\/\">&quot;Consider This!&quot;<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>The NY Times recently <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2013\/06\/17\/business\/media\/study-finds-supportive-tilt-to-gay-marriage-coverage.html\">reported on a study<\/a> that, I imagine, came as a shock to most of the Times\u2019 readership. \u201cNews organizations are far more likely to present a supportive view of same-sex marriage than an antagonistic view, according to a content study by the Pew Research Center to be released on Monday.\u201d The Pew study also noted that the views of the public at large, contrary to the news reporting, are evenly divided.<\/p>\n<p>For conservatives, this is like a study showing that the sun rose this morning, or the Pope is actually Catholic. But this paranoia about news coverage does, in fact, prove the adage that it\u2019s <i>not<\/i> paranoia because, if you have the unapproved viewpoint, they really <i>are<\/i> out to get
