My question about the Mitchell report is what is Major League Baseball going to do about the steroid problem now that everybody knows how widespread it really is. Here’s some suggestions of what to do next.
I just wonder how the player’s union will react to this. Most of this really depends on them.
I think, too, that while the fans may be disappointed by this, and while ticket sales may drop a bit, I don’t see a long-term drop in sales. Some folks that said they’d never come back after the strikes are back, or at least have been replaced.
Basically, my guess is that there will be some token actions taken, but not much in the long term, unfortunately.
